This taco gw2 doesn't come with any code changes, however the collision of the TacO button with the newly expanded menu bar has been fixed.

By Lara Hesperax. I have just discovered GW2TacO which is the overlay that gives you map completion routes but I am a bit terrified to use it in case i get banned. Does anyone know if devs are ok with the use of it or if they have anything official anywhere saying its fine? Anet has never officially approved it they usually never officially approve 3rd party tools. However it is just an overlay that uses the official API and does not interact with the client.

By TomySawyer. I wanted to ask before using Taco marker whether it is fully legal if it is legal i want to use in super adventure box and world completion. Is there anyone to be informed? Is there any problem with ToS? In the past, there was even a contest for overlays. I think it should be fine but as far as I heard there was a banwave in some year right after SAB I think for people who were using TaCo and an outrage that a patch had installed "spyware" on people systems. I'd use anything with caution for this case. Howver I think it's fine now to use it. You heard wrong. There was a banwave for people using specific cheatware. Some of those were also using TaCo and tried to obfuscate the issue.

Can't really compare texmod to Taco in terms of importance.

How can I be in the game I only run gw2 on the Windows side and open Taco? I am not a developer and not savvy in your world but trying to figure this out cause it looks so cool!

As I noted earlier, about a year ago I had a huge data loss in the TacO codebase that resulted in the wipe of the progress between builds 43 and I did what I could to recreate the code for the open-source release, but I didn't have time to thoroughly test the results. The releases from yesterday brought to light a couple issues that were lurking in the opensource code, and so today I sat down and went through the old changelogs to test everything once again. In the process a bunch of issues were found and fixed. This new build is the result of this effort. You can download the new build from here. As expected some issues came out with last night's build, so here's a quick update to fix what was reported already.

Ok, quick bugfix release for festival tracking - turns out that the GW2 API doesn't always function as it's documented, and since there wasn't a festival up until a couple hours ago I couldn't test the tracking properly. Oh well.
