Around this time last year, I reviewed Such and Such's sister restaurant, Pilot, which subsequently became The Canberra Times' top-scoring restaurant of the year. It was also awarded two chef's hats. Bravo to them.

Owners Ross McQuinn, Malcolm Hanslow and Dash Rumble have established Pilot as a fine-dining destination with people booking well ahead of time for a table at the Ainslie restaurant. The snacks at Such and Such are great, whether they are the start of a meal or just accompanying a pre-theatre drink. Proximity to the theatre is another bonus. Consult the excellent wine list, or put your trust in the staff to make a well-informed recommendation.
