Stranded deep

Stranded Deep takes place in the Pacific Ocean, where a plane crash survivor finds themselves faced with some of the most life-threatening scenarios in a procedurally generated world. Players are able to explore Pacific islands , reefs, and bottomless ocean trenches filled with detailed biomes, and need to search for and develop the means to survive. The game features a dynamic weather and day-night cycle. Also featured is a building system, whereby players are able to settle on an island and construct a shelter or a raft with which to explore the ocean, and a crafting system, whereby resources can be harvested and combined in order to create equipment. Resources are limited, and therefore need to be managed. As supplies that players are able to carry are limited, items need to be prioritized for the task at hand. Players need to manage their vitals of health, hunger, thirst, and sleep, against the elements they face. Thirst is in particular an important component of survival. Hydration sources are scarce, with coconut water being the most common and easiest to obtain water substitute, but can cause diarrhea if the player drinks too much at once, leading to hydration rapidly going down completely. The player can eventually craft a water still, which will produce water over time from the evaporation of palm leaves or gathering water from rainstorms.

Despite being surrounded by water, fresh drinking water in Stranded Deep is harder to come by than you might think. Still, keeping Thirst levels up is necessary if you want to thrive on your new deserted island. In order to survive and keep themselves healthy in Stranded Deep , you will want to replenish their Thirst meter whenever it is about to reach critical levels. When starting out, the only place you can find fresh water in Stranded Deep will be from coconuts. However, as you progress through their survival adventure and gain more skills, they will be able to craft a flask that can be used whenever you want. You will also be able to craft items that store water every time it begins to rain on the island. The Thirst meter in Stranded Deep drains the quickest, which can be intimidating when first starting out in Stranded Deep. At the start of the game, coconuts will be the quickest way to get drinking water. After hacking at the coconut with a tool, a few hits will turn it into a " Drinking Coconut ", which restores one bar of Thirst.
