In August he was named one of Marvel's "Young Guns", a group of artists that, according to Marvel Editor-in-Chief Joe Quesada , have the qualities that make "a future superstar penciller". Steve McNiven is finally taking his first steps into a larger world. Steve McNiven: I do! I am old enough to have watched the first movie in the theaters when I was 10 years old and it blew my mind! I went to the theater over and over that summer, rewatching the movie and I bought all of the toys and trading cards, comics and whatnot I could get my hands on. Still do, more or less! You could call me a lifelong fan of Star Wars.
