My problem is that I need to control the position of 12 inkjet heads of an industrial printer, stepper motor mercadolibre. Each one needs to be in a precise and steady-fix position during printing.
But the problem: I don't know how to connect to the arduino to control it. Could you help me with any guide about how connect this motor to the arduino? You need a stepper motor driver with at least 3A output - and for full performance a supply in the 24V to 80V range. No I dont need a full performance, the application is only for moving the angle of solar panel transmitting the power trough a screw mechanism, basically this solar panel give me only 12v and I don't know if the motor can move itself with this voltage. That driver can be made to work but it would be the least desirable solution primarily because it has no current limiting feature.

Looks like a different circuit, this may have optoisolator instead of transistors. Note: Your email address is included with the abuse report. Seems we are running parallel threads. See Howard's "Slipstick" message. Dissipation in that linear regulator needs to be watched. This looks like a good solution. No one is providing a schematic for these devices linked in the pervious message. The one on the Lerdge site shows both the 5V and 24V version. I can only suspect the ohm resistor on the bottom are in series with the driver opto couplers. If that is the case, those values are too high for a 5V variant, but OK for a 12V variant. See above regarding two supplies. Are you sure you wish to delete this message from the message archives of main onstep. This cannot be undone. Cancel Yes.
It's a calibration procedure so it usually takes long, but from manual to one motor at a time automatically, there a bunch of improvement.
Difference between LD is its increase in output current and power. It's output current is 2A, 4A at highest. The highest working voltage is 50V. It can drive inductive load, such as high power DC motor, stepping motor, gear motor, servo motor, solenoid valve, etc. When driving DC machine, it can directly control the step motor, and realize turning the motor forwardly and reversedly. To realize this function, you only need to change the logic level at the input.

Just fyi:. Other extensions: direction control indicator light, electrical interfaces on logical part. The VB code is outside the scope of this forum - but if it was my project, I'd write that up separately with all the jazzy screen, storage and UI elements needed - then send the stepper data over to the Arduino to do the local work.
.
I may say that there is no need to move them all at once. Electromechanical skills is not a problem, this is where I feel more confident. The only movement during printing is the conveyor belt below the inkjet heads, wich remain static, as each prints only a 0. So your VREF voltage should be 0. Is it possible to close the loop?
