Both the visual novel and the anime series are enigmatic. As the story unfolds, Okabe and his friends employ their steins gate kurisu ending travel technology to prevent various disasters, including the threat of World War III.
Steins;Gate is a considerably more complicated affair than most other visual novels. This largely stems from its core gameplay mechanic: the "Phone Trigger" system. Rather than being presented with explicit, binary choices like in other visual novels, your interaction with Steins;Gate is entirely diegetic and performed through using Okabe's phone. The route you take through the game and the ending you get is determined by your responses to emails you receive, whether you make phone calls when given the opportunity and even whether or not you read incoming messages. It's worth playing the game through at least once "on impulse" to see which of the endings you get before tackling the other routes. It is possible to unlock all the endings in a single playthrough with some strategic saving along the way, though, and that's what this guide is going to focus on.
