I was recently invited to a Gossip Girl inspired party where I had to dress up as Serena van der Woodsen. While putting together my outfit was fun, tearing apart my closet left a big pile of clothes on my bedroom floor When I got back the next day, I had a great idea - combining my Stardoll and real life closets to avoid that problem in the future! Stardoll recreation of my Serena van der Woodsen inspired outfit! Your closet, on Stardoll! Let's be honest - buying Stardoll clothes is far cheaper than buying clothes in real life! This means that your real life closet is most likely a lot smaller that your Stardoll closet, especially if you have a Superstar membership. Stardoll also boasts such a huge number of items in Starplaza and the Starbazaar that it's easy to create your real closet in your doll's suite! Finding your items! If you filter your closet, you may find that you already own similar items to those you own in real life.

Spotlight is a pretty fun feature on Stardoll! Here are a few tips to make sure your Spotlight feed stays fresh- and they might even score you more likes! Prioritise cool and new looks! It can be tempting to submit the same look to Spotlight multiple times, especially when it's part of your Daily Task, but it's a lot more fun to create new looks for every entry! It's also a lot more exciting for others to look through- seeing the same outfit six times can get old, and can make people less likely to like your looks when they see them. I personally like to only submit to Spotlight when I am especially proud of a look I've created! Use your new items! If you've bought an item from a recently released store, why not create an outfit, a beauty look, or a decor look with it for Spotlight? I've noticed that when Stardoll staff picks featured Spotlight photos, they often choose ones that use recently released items Check out your friends' pics!
