The Scammer is an NPC that the player can encounter in the first room on a level. He usually appears on the upper-right side of the room. He cannot be found in Boss Rush Mode. In most floors, he empties the player's last used Buff slot in exchange for gold, so that the player can choose a different Buff. If he is released from a Cage , he will provide an Amnesia Potion for free, which removes a Buff, but he can only provide once each time and this potion also fills up a Drink spot. When the Scammer spawns at in Level Mode , he will offer some different Buffs in exchange of gold and 3 random Buffs that the player currently has not including the Character's starter Buff. He always appears in The Origin , locked in a cage in the Forest area, and has a low chance to spawn in a special room outside of that mode. After rescued, the Mentor is able to upgrade the hero's skill up to 15 times. Every time he upgrades the skill, the damage or effect of the skill will be enhanced.
