The lens is well built, lightweight and discrete, the AF is quite fast. The focusing ring is large and pleasant to use but there is no hard stops for the minimum focusing distance or the infinity. This sharpness is excellent at the center although it require to stop down a little bit if you want very good corners but this will not be an issue for landscape photography. At F2 as you rarely focus in the corner , relative softness at that place is not a real issue. The 28mm is very pleasing to use with its fast AF, with is light weight and small size, you will carry it everywhere without any issue. Color rendition are good straight out of the camera.
