Also accompanying the Royal Family is Cedric , who is out on another scheme to take over the kingdom, only this time he's not after the Amulet of Avalor Sofia wears like he usually is planning on acquiring. This time, he's after the Mermaid Comb of Merroway Cove, a mystical item that gives hydro-kinetic powers so strong, the comb's bearer has the power of the ocean in his or her hands. To get it, he takes a boat to a cave and transforms himself into a sea monster and Wormwood into a squid to conceal their identities so the Enchancia Royal Family don't recognize them or realize they've left the Floating Palace to carry out Cedric's sinister plan that could threaten both Enchancia and Merroway Cove.
