The Lullaby Line Sleep Sack keeps your child at the perfect temperature without the suffocation hazard of blankets. The Baby Sleep Sack Pattern includes a standard version and a footed version for the big kids. Sewing Pattern pieces are computer generated and color coded for easy cutting. PDF Sewing Pattern includes layers so you can just print off the size you need, an A0 format for printing at a copy shop and a projector format. Recommended main knit fabric for the includes interlock, jersey, velour, sweatshirt fleece, fleece, or flannel. We have a wide selection available in our sister shop KnitFabric. Sizes: preemie mos.

Sleep sack sewing pattern

One of the baby items we have ended up relying on the most with Kate our second daughter is her sleep sack. Trace around the entire sleep sack. Pin the paper pattern piece to the fabric and cut it out — this makes the piece for the back. I used polar fleece since it needs to be warm. Fold the paper pattern piece in half and pin it to the fabric and cut out one of the front pieces. You can see in my photo below where you need it. At this point I realized that I needed to make the neck on the two front pieces a little bigger.

I have made a similar sleep sac but faced the neck and sleeves. Cuddle fabric is soft, it is silky, and it is just so dang fun to touch. Or is it closed off as if in a sleeping bag? Hangs head in shame. I will be making a few for my new grandson. Btw awesome blog. I know someone else said their machine was giving issues with tension for the zig-zag. They must have upgraded the design since then! I lined with a soft cotton, looks pretty and then the seams are finished as I turned it. I am thinking about putting velcro across the bottom seam so in the morning she can rip it open and be able to still wear it, yet still be able to walk in it. There were always about 10 in her crib!!!! Follow bombshellbling. I can sew zippers without much frustration, yet I find myself always looking for an alternative to sewing one. My husband printed it out for me and it looks way too big.

Mine has been washed x or so and still looks great! What size would you kind of think this will fit?
