The patent-pending S grip module is CNC machined from a solid block of billet aluminum for strength and rigidity. The S includes standard and long interchangeable grip attachments and dust covers with — and this is significant — a standard Picatinny rail. That means a user can utilize standard attachments like weapon-mounted lights and lasers. Adding custom grip panels is also an option, giving a prospective user the option to modify the grip in a way that, if not completely custom, at least has great potential for pseudo-customization. This grip module is NOT compatible with a manual safety, which can be removed prior to installation.

A few months back we covered the introduction of a new billet aluminum grip module for the SIG Sauer P pistol from Mischief Machine. The module has gone through several refinements over the last couple of months and the guys over at Mischief Machine are finally ready to start taking orders as they build up their inventory for a full release. As part of the refinement process, the Alpha Series PXL grip module is now available in versions with or without a grip safety and also features the Mischief Machine logo CNC engraved onto the side of the grip module. So far my experiences with this new refined grip module have been very pleasant and Joe owner of Mischief Machine has really put in a lot of hard work to make this a true upgrade to the P platform rather than just window dressing although it looks cool too. The grip area now features a much more comfortable chamfer making it less painful to shoot defensive ammunition with.
