Shiny Pokemon have long been part of the mainline series, often becoming the most valuable critters players can catch, and Pokemon Scarlet and Violet are no exception to this rule. If anything, Pokemon Scarlet and Violet 's shiny hunting sandwiches made for a fun and rewarding method provided players know where to look for which Pokemon and how to best spend the buff's 30 minutes to try and catch the most shinies they can. With a ton of new Pokemon added through the Paldea region in Gen 9, players have plenty of pocket monsters to find in their shiny version, and that includes the various Paradox Pokemon found in Area Zero. Paradox Pokemon are competitive powerhouses other than being objectively strong in most scenarios, and players willing to find shiny ones can try the Herba Mystica sandwiches. Not all of the shiny Paradox Pokemon have great color palettes, though, and some of them can be a bit disappointing as much as others can be amazing.

While certain shiny Paradox Pokemon are easily among the hardest shinies to hunt , they are definitely worth the effort and Sparkling Power sandwiches. These shiny Paradox Pokemon are much more colorful than Violet's chrome-shaded shinies, and they certainly offer some fabulous tweaks that will have you jumping for joy when you spot one among a crowd. It will likely follow the same pattern as Koraidon and Walking Wake, who are still yet to have their shiny forms unlocked. While all shiny Paradox Pokemon are not currently available, these ancient shinies are worth hunting down while you wait. Like its fellow Scarlet exclusives, Scream Tail offers an excellent ancient-themed reimagination of a classic Pokemon: Jigglypuff. Its red eyes give off an intimidating aura, as the once-sweet-looking pink ball embraces its ferocious glow-up. There's something strangely terrifying about the look on its face when it screams that sends shivers down your spine. Its long signature tail turns a bubblegum shade of pink that sets Scream Tail apart from its non-shiny counterpart, making it easy to pick out of a crowd. There's also something about the shape and shade of the tail that just screams Majin Buu from Dragon Ball Z; this little cotton candy puff toes the line between adorable and frightening.

Game Freak definitely adhered to a 'less is more' philosophy for all shiny Paradox Pokemon in Violet, which works for Iron Hands; some variety would still have been nice, though. Brute Bonnet avoided disaster by keeping its green curtain-like crown across both the regular and shiny editions. Brute Bonnet's main change is the Poke Ball red color being switched to blue, and Iron Moth's shiny is barely visible due to the color change being tied to the small triangles on its wings going from red to metal. The tier list includes S, A, B, and C tiers for shiny Paradox Pokemon, with some having amazing color palettes while others are less impressive or disappointing. When combined with a Sparkling Power sandwich, trainers discovered that only shiny versions would appear as you hunt the dark caves, while regular versions were prevented from spawning. The reflective nature of its appearance lets Iron Bundle shine brightest when it battles in a snowy environment, making for a wonderful treat when you're rematching Grusha in the snow-covered Glaseado terrain. That said, Iron Hands does stay true to Hariyama's color scheme and makes some futuristic innovations.

Iron Thorns stands out from the other shiny Paradox Pokemon as both a powerful Tera Raid option and a strong visual superior to its non-shiny version. Iron Bundle and Iron Jugulis both have shiny forms that offer a noticeable color change, with Iron Thorns and Iron Valiant showcasing powerful and visually superior designs. Both versions keep the white fur on the body, but the shiny pulls a classic Pokemon move by swapping the dominant wing colors with its accents. This shiny Paradox Pokemon might not be for everyone, but you'll certainly notice it before the original's more muted colors. The shiny gets a very dark-themed palette shakeup that is inverse to the change that Violet's Iron Treads underwent. If anything, Pokemon Scarlet and Violet 's shiny hunting sandwiches made for a fun and rewarding method provided players know where to look for which Pokemon and how to best spend the buff's 30 minutes to try and catch the most shinies they can.
