InMichele Satto planted the first vineyard of Syrah. The choice of Syrah stemmed from the will to represent to the maximum the aromatic complexity of the Mediterranean satta 2015, as well as to realize a personal identification with some great wines from the Rhone. Knowing that the average age of the vineyards would need to satta 2015 of at least over 15 years, Satto patiently awaited their sojourn, in order to bring out the maximum characteristics of this inexhaustible grape. The savory, refined palate delivers black-currant jam, tobacco and licorice alongside polished tannins.

Fermented in wood and aged over 24 months in second and third passage barriques. Spontaneous fermentation with indigenous yeasts. The bouquet is based on elegance and complexity marked by berries, dried roses and violets, aromatic herbs and wild blooms, essences and balsamic traces, finished with a fine and captivating spice. In the mouth it is intense, with great body and balance. A blend of freshness and flavor determines drinkability and makes it difficult to stop for a small taste.

The Bolgheri Superiore I Castagni of the Michele Satta company takes its name from the I Castagni vineyard, which over the years has revealed a "superior" character. It is mainly produced with Cabernet Sauvignon grapes and Syrah and Teroldego grapes all harvested and selected manually. Fermentation takes place in wooden barrels at controlled temperatures. Subsequently the wine ages in barriques for 18 months and for further 18 months in bottle. This wine is characterized by an intense and intense ruby red color with black shades.
