We fell in love with restaurants and great dining experiences. What started out as an oyster bar has since evolved into a larger sustainable seafood restaurant and a one-of-a-kind local dining experience for guests. In addition to enjoying a delicious seafood meal, guests can also join Sand and Pearl staff for yoga sessions, live music, and other community events.
Inside are top teak root dining tables flanking a massive full-service bar. In spite of the impressive furnishings, the eye is drawn to the south and west-facing walls of the restaurant, both of which are open to the beautiful views and refreshing sea breeze. What started as a simple concept to serve a variety of oysters developed into a multifaceted menu of old and new favorites: pan-seared scallops, prosciutto-wrapped mahi mahi and a show-stopping seafood tower. Very clearly understaffed. We arrived at 7pm and were already 86'ing numerous items on the menu and had to wait quite a while to be seen. It's popular for a reason and the food was excellent, but a few things to improve on. September Finally got to dine here! We visit the County each Fall but always missed getting to this place before they close for the season.
