Salamangreat's a long-time favorite of mine, and was actually the flagship strategy I used when I first started my YouTube channel. Overall, I feel the deck represents most of the aspects that challenge you to be the best duelist you can be. It's one of those decks with a low barrier of entry; tht anyone can really pick it up and succeed. But in the hands of a proficient duelist, it's a horrifyingly powerful deck that can win games either by keeping a stranglehold on the pace of play, or by swiftly ending the game in a single turn. It's been a hot minute since Salamangreat got any real new support, with the last update arriving in , and Decode Talker Heatsoul. Heatsoul changed the way the deck operated, taking it from a focus on hard won grind games to quickly drawing additional cards and making your opponent's life a hell. But Salamangreat hasn't done much in competition since. We haven't seen our fiery friends in ages, but now the deck's back and better than ever, with a ton of new tools and some fresh perspective on the old ones! Salamangreat's got a wide swath of support cards. Seriously, there's a ton of them! While most aren't useful, some definitely shine.
Also, always keep Nibiru, the Primal Being in the back of your mind when you're piloting Salamangreat. Besides that, this deck is quite consistent and has the capacity to both recycle its resources to control the game, and finish salamangreat new support when accessing the famous Cyberse OTK combo.

Learn how to play with the new Salamangreat support cards, with a deck that is, bit by bit, more consistent and powerful! By Marcos Sobral. Salamangreat is an archetype formed by Cyberse-type monsters, of the Fire attribute. The main trait of this archetype is "reincarnation", also called "re-link" by players. It regards the ability of giving an additional effect to one of your link monsters if it was summoned using as material another copy of the same monster, or any monsters with the ability of copying its name. Besides that, this deck is quite consistent and has the capacity to both recycle its resources to control the game, and finish matches when accessing the famous Cyberse OTK combo. Salamangreat was powerful in mid, and is no longer at its peak competitive state after January 's banlist. Since then, it became a rogue deck, and went through highs and lows.

Though I am excited about the new support cards and I consider them good cards, I believe there will still be many questions regarding which is the best build for this deck, once new cards force this deck to change its deckbuilding to be used properly. Lastly, the traps! Sunlight Wolf has an extra effect when it's been summoned by using a Sunlight Wolf, too, getting you back a Salamangreat spell or trap card. Neither player can activate monster effects in response to this card's activation. You can only use this effect of "Splash Mage" once per turn. Besides that, after resolving its effect, the player can only special-summon monsters of the Fire attribute until the end of the turn, something that will certainly affect deckbuilding, which stops using cards such as Number Bagooska the Terribly Tired Tapir and even Decode Talker Heatsoul , which despite being a Fire attribute card, needs Cyberse monsters of different attributes to be summoned. Something wrong? Yeah, Salamangreat has an on-theme Soul Charge. This tool attempts to find the lowest Market Price for each card on. Salamangreat Balelynx and Salamangreat Sunlight Wolf remain as important as before. One of the greats in the game, Paulo Goncalves said it best: "Salamangreat should be consistency cards and defense".

Another interesting extender is Salamangreat Meer , which is very useful to help you keep playing in case your "normal summon" leaves the board due to an opponent's interaction. That's huge for multiple reasons, since some of the other key cards in your deck increase the tempo of the game tenfold when you have multiple Special Summon effects. One of the greats in the game, Paulo Goncalves said it best: "Salamangreat should be consistency cards and defense". Salamangreat of Fire's great because it's effectively a 1-card combo: it can grab Salamangreat Gazelle , which gets to all of the other important cards. We can highlight a new maindeck monster which is capable of adding "Gazelle" from your deck to your hand, besides a new boss monster for the extra deck! At the start of the Damage Step, if a Cyberse monster you control battles: You can banish this card from your GY; destroy that monster you control. While this card is in the GY, if a "Salamangreat" Link Monster is Link Summoned to your field using a monster with its same name as material: You can Set this card, but banish it when it leaves the field. B I Card. This tool attempts to find the lowest Market Price for each card on. You can banish 1 Link Monster from your field or GY; destroy 1 card your opponent controls, also for the rest of this turn, you cannot banish monsters with that same Attribute to activate this effect of "Accesscode Talker". View More Advanced Deck Search. You won't use that effect often, but it's nice to keep it in mind. Seriously, there's a ton of them! Here are your consistency spells, with Cynet Mining being a "rota" card for Cyberse monsters and Salamangreat Circle a "rota" card for "Salamangreat" monsters, which also has a protection effect for your "reincarnated" monsters. If you control no cards, you can activate this card from your hand.
