The Female Elite appearance is very similar to that of Android 18 in Dragon Ball GT , but she is much shorter, has shorter black hair swept to her right, and has a Saiyan tail. In her original outfit, she wears a blue mid-drift cheongsam dress similar to Chi-Chi's from the World Tournament though it has yellow accents instead of red like Chi-Chi's , a yellow belt with a pair of hoop earrings, white boots and black shorts that match her black undershirt. In her second Class-up outfit, instead of wearing a full dress, Viola wears a separate long-sleeved crop top and skirt that are both blue with yellow edges. Her undershirt becomes cropped as well, and she gains white gloves, white pants, and black slip-on shoes. In her third Super Class-up outfit, she gains a blue and white vest with yellow edges over a white long sleeved shirt with pointed shoulders, a blue cape, black pants, black fingerless gloves yellow socks and blue and yellow boots that are folded over at the top. In her fourth God Class-up outfit, she returns to wearing a similar dress to the one from her original outfit, though this one is shorter. The shirt and pants from her previous outfit become more slim-fitting, and she gains black gloves with small gold wristbands and boots similar to the ones from her previous outfit without the yellow line around the bottom. In her Super God Class-up and Ultimate Class-up Sign outfit, she wears a blue vest with white ties going down the middle, a black long-sleeved shirt, tight white pants, a yellow belt, blue wristbands, and blue high heels. The Dragon Ball franchise has often been lacking when it comes to female fighters, and that was something that the sequel series Dragon Ball Super aimed to fix when it introduced the Saiyan Caulifla. But who is Caulifla, and where did this new Saiyan come from? As survivors of planetary destruction, there are understandably few Saiyans running around the Dragon Ball universe. Goku, Vegeta, and their children were the only ones known to be alive for quite some time, and while other survivors Like Broly show up, none have been women. To avoid undermining Vegeta's characterization, which depends heavily on their homeworld being destroyed, there had to be another way to bring new Saiyans into the equation. This conundrum was resolved by expanding on the greater cosmology of Dragon Ball , making Goku's universe just one of twelve that existed, each of which was paired up with an opposite. Goku's world becomes known as Universe 7, which is paralleled by Universe 6. Many of the same planets and species exist in both, including Earth and a new Saiyan homeworld: planet Sadal.
