I was going to get a Simply Rugged Cattleman but held off, and I just got this holster for my Vaquero Birdshead and it's nice, but almost an inch shorter than my SS is. I keep wondering what if I'm sitting, would it bottom out on the seat or ground. I'm sure I could kick it out or remove it, or lean to one side, no longer than I'd most likely be sitting. I also saw their holster which apparently rides a little higher, but not so high it would be harder to draw like the Sourdough might be. Then there are other holster makers which offer nice stuff too. So, what are your thoughts on this, and what do you use for yours? Is there a "Best" holster for the Single Six?
