My wife and I have recently moved to the area. As background we travel frequently and have had the opportunity to dine at restaurants all over the world. We have been eating out around the city trying to find the best restaurants. Tonight we decided Tucked away in a corner, the location is unassuming as you would find in a Manhattan restaurant known to locals only. The wait staff was attentive. Service was excellent and professional.

Our Menu Il Nostro Menu. Four grilled slices of filet mignon served on grilled and seasoned bread with stoneground mustard. Finished with our made in house balsamic reduction. Three artisanal beef, veal, and pork meatballs, generously coated in a tomato sauce and ricotta cheese, artfully garnished with basil and a dash of freshly ground pepper. Three plump, skin-on grilled shrimp, enhanced by a velvety white butter lemon reduction, finished with a refreshing parsley-lemon garnish. Classic roman dish, consisting of rice and mozzarella cheese, mixed with tomato sauce and herbs, breaded, and deep-fried to create a crispy exterior with a molten, cheesy interior. Served on a bed of our marinara sauce. A contemporary twist on a beloved classic. Golden-fried calamari, delicately coated in a light, crispy batter, resting atop a bed of vibrant arugula. A zesty lemon slice adds a burst of citrusy brightness. Baked brussel sprouts topped with pecorino cheese and our balsamic reduction. Salads Caesar. A timeless favorite featuring freshly chopped romaine lettuce, imported parmesan cheese, and crisp croutons, all generously coated in our traditional, homemade dressing. Freshly cut romaine lettuce gently tossed in olive oil, seasoned with a touch of salt and cracked pepper, then crowned with a duo of imported parmesan and pecorino cheese.

Served on a bed of our marinara sauce. Server was very nice but service was very inconsistent. Indulge in our 9oz filet mignon.

After having been to Roma 6 or more times, dining with my wife or as many as 10 friends, I thought I should review. Largely a forgettable meal. My husband's caesar salad and the bread were good. Read our transparency report to learn more. Not fancy or pretentious - just excellent pasta and entrees. First time a restaurant has said "we make our pasta fresh daily" and I could taste a difference. Food was very good.
