Rex Orange County was the mid-week pick-up everyone needed. In his first-ever concert in Singapore, Rex Orange County tugged at our heartstrings and touched our souls. With his soothing vocals, tender songwriting, and mesmerising stage sets, we were pulled into a whirlwind of emotions across his track setlist. This is Rex's first since 's Live at Radio City Music Hall EP taken from his two sold-out shows at the venue in just before his international Pony tour was cut short in Berlin due to Covid As it turns out, however, that tour being cut short is part of the genesis of this album. After spending the bulk of quarantined back home in the UK, Rex made the trek to Amsterdam that fall to record with Benny Sings, with whom he crafted the platinum selling breakout single " Loving Is Easy. What started as sessions without expectations turned into an incredibly productive hour window of recording with Benny, prompting a follow-up trip to Amsterdam. The subsequent 10 days of work together produced his fourth album, made in close partnership with Benny, that is a playful record by an artist in a playful mood. The energy he was radiating was just phenomenal, the huntington bank pavillion is all leveled so i couldnt see him at all but still had the greatest time. The people were so nice and he sounds the exact same in person as he does recorded. His voice is literally angelic and his energy is out of this world. He really put his heart and soul into every lyric and it shows how much he cares for the fans. So Who Cares? BUY IT!!! The Rex Orange County concert was super fun and just like a party. Entry was super easy, the only thing is I know the merch and concession lines were pretty long. I would recommend going to his concerts if you can, I was not in the pit, I was in like the 5th row of the right section and I still had a lot of fun. Great setlist and energy, was a super fun night.
