Alfredo was the oldest of five, of a German family who, in , escaped from Nazi persecution and settled in Ibiza. However, he never changed the style of his cooking which is basically Ibiza style, and neither the family-style service. Two decades ago, he started taking pictures of the famous people that have dined in the restaurant, and nowadays one of the walls is full of faces that have made history in Spain and internationally.
