I have used them for 2 years and if I paidfor a lead and the person didnt let me quote or ignored my calls I was given the cost of the lead back, but now rated people have changed policy and will not refund so you pay for a lead are not allowed to quoteand do not get your money back. I can only spend it with them which I dont want to do.

If I could put - stars I would. Avoid this site at all costs, as a tradesperson and as a customer. My husband has been using rated people for many years now. He has over ratings, and only 3 of those are less than 5 star. He recently had a big job starting, however the customer gave my husband the wrong set of keys and he could not gain entry into the property, it also meant that the kitchen that was being delivered that had to go back to the factory and a new delivery day was scheduled, so the job was obviously delayed. Unbeknownst to my hubby, the customer contacted Rates People and complained about said delay on his job starting. So, what did they do? Well they didn't contact hubby and ask his side of things, they just shut his account and told him it would be reopened when the job was completed to the satisfaction of the customer! And even after hubby contacted them email, as they don't accept calls they wouldn't budge. So, on top of everything else, he also hadn't been paid by a previous customer, but rated people don't intervene then do they he then lost a future job because the customer couldn't access his account to look at his rating!!!

I made the right choice when agent called me regarding my request for a painter and decorator. The ceiling in the kitchen had water damage, and in order to get the correct paint he took me to buy the right choice of primer and paint for the job without charging any extra. The rest of the kitchen was also painted and there was also some pointing and painting to be done in the living room with the help of his cousin. The work was clean and tidy and I am pleased with everything that took place. If there is any further work to be done in the future I will have no hesitation in calling him. I have used rated people twice now and both transactions were trouble free.. As a single woman living alone I did not want to use them at first because of security issues,and you are guided only by the recommendations given

This company does not typically respond to reviews. I had a complete new bathroom put in recently as my old bathroom was very old and there was a leak as well as plumbing issues. I hired Robert Iwaniak a builder I found on rated people he did an amazing job in transforming my bathroom it's stunning and I'm very pleased with it. He was very professional and trustworthy I would recommend him to anyone if there looking for a good all round builder. Rated people are a disgusting unscrupulous company that will steal money from your bank account without permission, anyone thinking of dealing with them would be very foolish and should stay well away from these pack of thieves.

Fake reviews, fake leads and the like are all easy to avoid. Rated People helps homeowners and local people find reputable tradies with genuine reviews.
