It was great seeing a sea of maroon at the airport once again. We had athletes come from as far south as the Gold Coast, and west as Miles, amongst the competitors. Along with the 31 entries in the Qld Hub National event we had a further 16 entries in the Open competition. Most improved lifters across the combined Queensland competition:. A number of International Level referees travelled up to the event to staff a Jury for the entire competition, this enabled upgrades from Club to State Referee, and State to National referee.
