Zombie Yeti is a zombie the player encounters in Plants vs. Along with being the 26th zombie encountered in Adventure Mode , he is also the last zombie encountered in the mode, his first appearance is in Level , but only after Adventure Mode has been completed once so by then the player would have encountered every other zombie. After encountering him for the first time, he can be rarely seen in any other level in the game, but not in the seed selection screen. That's where is name comes from, just adding "Zombie" to it, for obvious reasons. Zombie Yeti absorbs damage and his appearance changes upon absorbing damage before dying at damage. Zombie Yetis drop four diamonds five on the first time when killed, but he runs away after a short while, so the player should kill him quickly to earn the diamonds. Note that the diamonds count as money, so the player can obtain 3 diamonds and one bar of chocolate. Be ready to keep an eye at him, as he can appear in any level at any time. Just do whatever you do to kill Buckethead Zombies obviously besides using Magnet-shrooms. If he tries to run away, he can be stopped by planting a Wall-nut or another defensive plant in his path such as Pumpkin or Tall-nut.

As of Plants vs. Zombies 3 , Zombie Yeti has appeared in five games while a similar counterpart, Treasure Yeti , has also appeared in five games. In the original Plants vs. Zombies game, Zombie Yeti doesn't appear in the initial playthrough of the game's Adventure Mode campaign; instead Zombie Yeti appears in subsequent replays of the gamemode, always appearing in Level but sometimes appearing randomly in other levels and outside the gamemode such as in Survival Mode. When Zombie Yeti appears, he will slowly walk through the lawn for a short while before turning around in an attempt to retreat. If the player manages to defeat Zombie Yeti before he walks off the lawn, they will be rewarded 5 diamonds 4 upon repeat encounters.
