In Project Zomboid, you can find the Louisville location to the far east. Louisville is also located directly north of both West Point and Valley Station. The exact location of Louisville can be seen below on the Project Zomboid in-game map. That said, spawning at West Point is the best option for getting to Louisville early on in the game. The city was initially outside the quarantine zone during the start of the Knox infection, but eventually zombies overwhelmed the checkpoints that were located near Louisville after noises of riots and conflicts between the military and citizens demanding answers attracted the attention of the zombies nearby. Not long after the checkpoints where overwhelmed the military began setting up checkpoints on bridges leading to the north, not long later panicked citizens of Louisville began fleeing north as the zombies began heading towards the city. As the infection spread through the city, civil unrest ran rampant. This is reflected throughout the city with random military vehicles and burned buildings on the outskirts of the city. There is also one point of interest on the south side along the river, where a military checkpoint is set up.
