The Prince of Death's Staff easily outscales all of the other staffs in Elden Ring as long as you invest in both intelligence and faith. This weapon has a passive ability to boost all of your death sorceries for a lot of damage. This staff will outscale most of the other staves in the game as long as you can invest as many points into both intelligence and faith. However, you cannot just enter the Eternal City ruins in Elden Ring. You need to first gain access to Deeproot Depths which can be done in two ways. Once the gargoyles are taken care of, make your way to the waterfall area at the back of the boss arena. You will find a coffin here that you can ride straight to Deeproot Depths. Even better is that when you come out of the coffin, you will be right next to a Site of Grace to rest before proceeding. You can only use this method after defeating the Mohg, the Omen boss. Head to the Cathedral of the Forsaken Site of Grace. There will be a chest here that you need to move out of the way to reveal a hidden passage at its back.

To reach this area, Tarnished adventurers must gain access to the Deeproot Depths, an underground region beneath the Royal Capital of Leyndell. Deeproot Depths can be entered via two methods. The protagonist can ride a transport coffin in Siofra Aqueduct, or they can take a hidden passage within the Cathedral of the Forsaken of the Subterranean Shunning-Grounds. Both methods require the player to defeat a challenging boss to proceed. Those who go the Siofra Aqueduct route must first be able to enter Nokron, Eternal City, a sub-region of Siofra River that is unlocked once Tarnished adventurers have defeated General Radahn in Caelid. A giant crater will appear in southern Mistwood of Limgrave, allowing the player to delve into its depths and reach Nokron. Siofra Aqueduct is accessed by traversing to the far northern end of Nokron and taking a semi-hidden pathway through a small ruin, leading to the Valiant Gargoyle Duo. Once they have been defeated, Tarnished can rest in a nearby coffin to be transported to the Deeproot Depths. After arriving in the Deeproot Depths, head west from the initial Site of Grace and cross the giant gap by walking atop two large connected branches.

Siofra Aqueduct is accessed by traversing to the far northern end of Nokron and taking a semi-hidden pathway through a small ruin, leading to the Valiant Gargoyle Duo. But if you really want to build around this staff, then you better be accept that you will never surpass the pure builds in terms of damage, but you will have a lot of tricks in your sleeve because of your dual main stats. Plus you can just offhand this thing to get the boosts for the death sorceries while still having much better spell boost with the other two staffs. And seriously, im just carrying 3 crimson tears just for an emergency heal and the rest of my flask goes to fp flask. Kind of the opposite of golden order seal, which gives decent access to incantations to INT build. And with that, this staff clearly is for hybrid caster build.
