The hotel is situated a short walk from the railway station. We travelled to York by train. Locals will say the hotel is about five minutes walk from the station, however, I have arthritis so decided to take one of the taxis from the taxi rank outside the station. For those not wanting to use a taxi, there is a bus which runs from outside the station to a bus stop opposite The Premier Inn. Blossom Street is only about ten minutes from the city centre so hotel is very close to many of York's attractions. At first we could not find Reception until we saw signs saying it was at the back of Costa Coffee.
