Portal twilight forest

Once you have installed the mod, you may be wondering how to get into the Twilight Forest? What do you do in the Twilight Forest? Or even where do you go? This simple guide will direct you around the mod and give some insight on what you're doing. Before you even explore the Twilight Forest, you need to get there. This is the first step in exploring a magical world. To make a portal to the Twilight Forest, make a 2x2 shallow pool 4 squares of water in a grassy area, and surround it entirely with natural stuff flowers, mushrooms, saplings, leaves, grass, anything considered a "plant" or "leaves". As of Version 3. Then throw a diamond in with the "Q" key, by default and stand back! It is also possible to use Podzol , Coarse Dirt or Mycelium for the Portal, as long as it is a dirt block and has plants. If you think you have successfully created the portal, but no lightning strikes, then chances are something might not be working properly. Here's some tips to help diagnose the problem. If all of the above have been checked, but still no portal forms, you might have either come across a bug, or another mod might be conflicting with the creation process. The simplest portal consists of a 2x2 area of water source blocks, surrounded by Dirt, Coarse Dirt, Grass, Podzol, or Mycelium, with any flowers or mushrooms on the surrounding blocks. See the images for examples of how Twilight Forest Portals are made. Once the portal is set up, throw a Diamond into the water, and, if set up correctly, lightning will strike the portal, and the water sources will be replaced with the portal blocks. Any blocks can be underneath the portal, but there must be blocks below the water source blocks. Additionally, the Diamond may be placed in the water before the flowers are fully around the water sources. The portal can be scaled up to having an 8x8 water source, and can be any shape smaller than 8x8. To deactivate a portal, either break one of the portal blocks, or destroy one of the blocks around the edge or below the portal.

Twilight Forest Portal is a technical block added by the Twilight Forest mod. It cannot be obtained nor is it used in any crafting recipes. If manually placed in Creative mode, it will turn into water once it receives a block update. To create the portal you must first make a 2x2 hole and fill it with water source blocks. You must then place flowers, mushrooms, etc. You must then throw in a diamond and this will cause lightning to strike the water and turn it into a 2x2 portal. If you create this portal in the normal world it will create a linked twin portal in the twilight forest and vice versa.
