The new Airdrie location is a partner shop to a window-front version of the business in Cardston, Alta. After visiting the Cardston window and having a chat with an old friend, Stanford and her husband Kent, approached Rylan about partnering up to bring a larger storefront to the city of Airdrie. The trademark soda concoctions listed on the menu have been fan favourites thus far, according to Stanford, and a lot of trial and error went into developing the perfect flavours. Stanford recalled a recent time when a family came into the shop with their daughter, who has diabetes. She said all three individuals were able to order whatever they wanted from the menu, with the peace of mind their daughter could have a sweet treat safely.

Stanford believes the shop was nominated due to its diverse menu and friendly staff. With over 60 flavours of ice cream and syrup on offer, the business is a must-stop for any dessert lover. They even offer vegan soft serve and sugar-free options, so everyone has something to choose from. The adjoining pop shop invites thirsty Airdronians to mix and match their favourite soft drink with uniquely flavoured syrup or even add ice cream to the drink to make it into a float. The pop shop concept is a popular idea in the United States, which is where the inspiration for the thirst-quenching business idea stirred within Stanford. When she was ready to take the plunge, Stanford joined forces with a former high-school friend, who already owned a pop shop in Cardston, in southern Alberta. Great selection of flavors and mixes. Apparently our office is hooked as we are ordering drinks for the office again today. Make sure to check this place out and support this local business. Lots of variety. Good prices. We were all happy with our orders. It's a bit slow and there is no indoor eating or sitting, but we have even gone on cold, windy days and it was still worth it.
