When Frontier announced Planet Coaster back in , it was met with a wave of excitement and adoration and although it still remains a fantastic game, we wonder if perhaps there might be a Planet Coaster 2 release date in our future. Whilst the original Planet Coaster certainly did encourage the player to step into the mind of a tycoon and play their cards right, most of the time players instead opted for death machines or extraordinary coaster creations. Since its release, Planet Coaster has seen a large swathe of DLC, free updates and events that have improved and expanded the game. So the real question is, will there be a Planet Coaster 2? The Frontier development interim results were very interesting that were released the other day. Of course we have gotten way less updates and the game was less flexible with no mod support, so maybe Planet Coaster 2 would be a good chance to start over from scratch to make a game that you can really keep on replaying and expanding upon. Some of them are in Planet Zoo and make some of the tools and systems work far, far better in that game over Planet Coaster, so these would be a welcome upgrade and additions, there are so many now that I struggle to play Planet Coaster because it just feels so outdated when compared to Planet Zoo and it's systems.
