Pitchfork, the most trusted voice in music, announced today the first-ever Pitchfork Music Festival Mexico City, taking place March in venues across the city. The Mexico City event is the latest addition to Pitchfork's growing music festival portfolio, which now includes its tentpole festival in Chicago , and annual European editions in Paris , London , and Berlin. Pitchfork Music Festival Mexico City will be presented across a variety of iconic live music spaces, following the success of the multi-venue format used by Pitchfork's European festivals. So far, events will take place at Foro Indie Rocks! The artist lineup will be announced later this Fall.

Various acts will be announced for the festival in the following months. The festival, set to take place March , , will partner with local Mexico City venues to put on their acts, such as Foro Indie Rocks! Tickets for the festival are already on sale, with Pitchfork Plus passes available that allow access to four venues and three club shows, according to the announcement. There are also standard passes available which allow access to only four venue shows. Passes are available in limited quantities, but individual tickets will drop this fall.
