Pine pellets bunnings
Hello all, I've recently collected a bunch of pallets from bunnings stores around my area to reuse and make furniture with. I've heard plenty about Methyl Bromide and the dangers of using pallets treated with this. Some stamps on the pallets are unreadable, I just wondered if anyone knows if the pallets pine pellets bunnings use or give away are treated with MB at all?
I highly recommend this for cat litter. It lasts longer too. I recently switched to using sand after my local equine store moved and stopped selling to the public. Big mistake! I was so lucky I found Woonona! Delivery was fast and my cat is very happy to be using this again now.

So was on a mission to collect something from Bunnings today While there I spotted these New Pellets at a bargain basement price Anyone in Melbourne interested in these, I spotted them at the New Oakleigh store! Recycled hardwood potentially sets off an alarm from me. If it's recycled from housing demo, I'd be worried about subfloor and chemicals. I used them in a DB I had at the time and they were ok but the burn time was quick so the value dropped a bit in that regard. I doubt that they'd be able to label them as suitable for a BBQ if they had chenicals in them and it was similar labelling with the BBQ Galore packs. Maybe it's the same mob? Roof timber is normally covered in asbestos fibres. They probably not using housing timber though as housing demo gets belted over with a 30t excavator and sent to landfill. Jarrah is sought after, and it's such a Hardy timber it Mills up beautifully. Yeah most of the older houses have all jarrah roofs and beams and there really good bits of wood in w. As long as there not using the new wood they use now days.. I'd suggest that it would be better mixed with some hickory pellets like those sold by Bunnings Samba. I think as this is a new line, they won't be in many stores as yet.
