The two 4 prong were good, but on the 5 prong relay the 70a middle prong had resistance when the circuit was energized and clicked open. I replaced the blown fuses and fans turned on at about on the guage but each fan turned on at different times and after less than a minute running each fan blew each fuse. It smelled like burnt electrical and one fan seemed to be smoking from inside the fan itself. The wire harness and clip to the fan were not burnt at all or in bad condition. Each fan worked at some point. I'm wondering if the fan could be drawing too much current somehow because it is old and malfunctioning or if it could be the one 5 prong relay is bad? Can i rule out coolant temp sensor and pcm?
