At first I thought that maybe water leaked into the engine compartment and that somehow affected the sensor. There was some water under the hood, but after drying out the codes remained. I've driven it a bit and don't notice anything odd going on. I'm new to the OBD world, the last time I worked on a vehicle engine, decades ago, I was using a timing light and rotating the distributor. Should I just clear the codes and see if they get thrown again? Regarding the OBD in general, if the problem goes away does the OBD clear the code automatically or will it remain until someone clears it? Other thoughts on what to do next?
