Opodo's management after the car hire company was even more appalling! I booked car hire via Opodo in Turkey. A car hire company called DMR. All paid up front and was suppose to have Euro blocked on the card as per Opodo documentation for hire on arrival. The company tried charging me Euro then settled at Euro. Rather then blocking the amount, they charged it to my card resulting in transaction charges, contrary to the contract signed by Opodo.

I called them again to be told that was all they were prepared to refund me but to fill out a complaint opodo reviews to have them resolve it.

Honestly, steer clear. Triple checking, I logged on to the Lufthansa website to confirm, once again that the flight had been cancelled. If you buy an insured ticked, don't ever expect to see your money back, because you won't! However, Opodo let us book and pay for the hotel for several nights. Opodo are not interested in listening or assisting in anyway. Their customer service personnel are trained to be so polite and respectful but at the end of the day they have no authority, no power and if I ask to speak to a senior it is like asking to speak to the king or something. I contacted opodo and stated I was not happy with this and would like to cancel. I then called the Irish office, who confirmed that the flight had been cancelled. I booked a flight through Opodo for Ryanair, bad combination anyways. Showing 1 to 20 of results. Opodo explained that their system stated that the flight hadn't been cancelled and offered to book me on to the flight. Where is the company located? They told us we cannot get a refund.
