As the situation around Onigashima escalates, fearing his awakening enhancements , as Sanji makes his decision, he contacts Zoro and requests for the latter to kill him if he loses control. Apoo tries to convince X Drake to team up against Kaidou after the emperor defeats Luffy. He states that Kaidou has never been weakened like this so now is the time to defeat him. However, X Drake rejects his offer and attacks Apoo instead. The skirmish is interrupted by Yamato who is in a hurry to go to the armory and stop Onigashima from exploding. Elsewhere, CP0 agents have come to take Nico Robin. However, the Minks attack the agents as a distraction, allowing Brook and Robin to escape. Meanwhile, Sanji is fleeing from his fight against Queen after he noticed that his body had started mutating. His fears of turning into a cold-blooded Germa soldier like his bro thers is slowly taking over him. He fails to notice a lady calling to him for help and he only regains his senses when he sees the said lady on the floor bleeding and looking at him in terror.

However, the Minks attack the agents as a distraction, allowing Brook and Robin to escape. Sanji fans and Sanji lovers are out in full force to appreciate great animation.

As the teacher at the Flower Capital begins narrating the story to an audience, Yamato reveals to Kin'emon and Momonosuke that he decided not to join the Straw Hats for the moment until he learned more about the world by traveling throughout Wano first. The three arrive to see the Straw Hats off and Luffy gives Momonosuke his flag along with a promise to return if Wano is in danger again. He also states he is willing to accept the three of them as crewmembers if they ever decide to be pirates. As Luffy against the wishes of the crew decides to go down the waterfall instead of the port on their way out of Wano, the teacher finishes his story with the statement of Orochi 's final moments as well as the return of the Kozuki Clan regaining their glory. The two are confused by this since he made a declaration that his mind was made up, and Yamato explains that he wants to walk in Kozuki Oden 's footsteps, and he explored all of Wano first before he went out to sea, so he intends to start there too. They eventually reach Tokage Port, where the Straw Hats, Heart Pirates , and Kid Pirates prepare to set sail as Momonosuke transforms back into his human form and tackles Luffy to the ground, with Yamato also doing so albeit just to say goodbye to him. Luffy reveals that they were waiting for him the whole time so they could give it to him, and though he looks like a man, he knows he is still a kid, but most of all, he sees him as a little brother.
