The existing setup is a standard door bell that has a cable that runs from the outside door bell into a Friedland type 6 chime and then a cable from that to the low voltage transformer next to the main fuse box. The transformer then goes into the main fuse box. The chime has 4 terminals labelled 0, T3, old friedland doorbell wiring diagram, 1R and F2. I have traced the wires and the ones coming direct from the transformer are going to 0 and T3.

The 16 VAC output of a transformer is on terminals 4 and 5. I originally connected the Power Kit to terminals 0 and 1.
