The annual showcase of senior class runners features entrants from Ohio, Michigan, Indiana and Illinois. While the competitive element is important, the Mid-East Championships provides athletes with so much more. Namely, an opportunity to get to know other seniors from across the state and beyond state lines plus recreational activities and a top notch post-race banquet. Used by seniors as one last opportunity to line-up in XC as a high school'er or as a bridge to upcoming races such as Foot Locker Midwest or RunningLane, whatever the purpose the meet provides great value. Indian Riffle Park is a tough but fair course and with a small overall field, athletes can easily get out in space and put their skills to the test. A collection of some of Ohio's best ever distance talent has gone through the Mid-East program in recent years, including Dustin Horter champion , William Zegarski champion and Grace Hartman runner-up.

I've forgotten to do that for a few years now. Now, I just need to remember to cancel my annual membership before it renews for another year. If you want to look at district meet results from , you'll have to play around with some URLs. I have sensed from reading this board that there has been a general rise in performance as of late.
