Ever since Normie Osborn bonded to the Rascal symbiotenormie osborn, he has struggled to maintain control over both his new alien ally and his own worst instincts. All of this has only been made more difficult by the return of the Goblin Nation, not to mention their attacks on normie osborn and the people he loves.

Spider-Man managed to escape, though was heavily drugged by Harry. Racing inside, Harry flew from the exploding building on his glider, with Mary Jane and Normie clutched safely in his arms. Shortly thereafter, after making peace with Peter, Harry passed out.

When Norman Osborn returned from the dead, he also used a robot Goblin to kidnap his heir. This version appeared as the standard Green Goblin, causing Normie to believe his father had returned. This was part of a complex ploy to increase his visibility by playing the unfortunate grandfather. Norman has since dismissed the possibility of his grandson being the new Goblin, saying Normie has the same weaknesses as Harry. The Chameleon used Normie's safety as a bargaining chip to bring the Molten Man into his plan to attack Spider-Man after he had unmasked himself.
