Each year, Cal North will provide requirements that clubs who apply to the club-based division must adhere to each year. Cal North will review and accept club-based teams each season. There are four levels of play ranking from highest to lowest: gold, silver, bronze and copper. Normally the league is broken into two separate seasons, fall and spring, with seasons consisting of roughly games. The league will attempt to create specific district divisions, to minimize travel. These teams will provide recognition to standout players for their performance during the season. CCSL Best XI teams will be presented in a formation with one goalkeeper, four defenders, four midfielders and two forwards.

NorCal Premier Soccer has long believed all levels of soccer must be healthy and vibrant for the entire soccer pyramid to thrive. We believe soccer clubs and leagues who provide grassroots and recreational levels of soccer, the entry level for most kids, should offer their members an enjoyable first step into soccer and be connected under the US Club Soccer umbrella. By playing soccer, more often, in a more enjoyable manner — we believe we will help keep kids playing soccer later in life. We are excited to partner with clubs and leagues who are doing so at this time. Purpose Our goal is to create comprehensive recreational competitions for those clubs and leagues offering this to their membership, underneath the NorCal Premier Soccer structure. Each team will play between games with matches starting in mid to late August. Divisions will be based on area and level of team. US Club Super Rec passes will be required to participate. The event will be played over two different weekends with the U16 to U19 divisions being played on November and the U10, U12 and U14 age groups being played on December Both events will take place at the Davis Legacy Soccer Complex.
