So, I have read the rules and have noticed that there are no rules stating that you can kill on sight and you instead have to initiate with the person in order to kill them. The question I have is: does this rule apply to military locations and areas of high people concentration? If it does not I feel like it very much should. All my time I have spent in DayZ has taught me to be hostile with people holding guns in their hands at military locations and not to be friendly with them. With this system of having to initiate with people, someone could just run through the middle of the airfield or in the middle of a field and not have to worry about being shot because you have to go and talk to them in order to kill them. I have had the drop on so many people so far that I could have killed and I wanted to kill but I couldn't because I had to initiate and what am I supposed to say? It seems impossible to be evil on this server because you have to get close to someone and initiate instead and the server feels more like a PvE server than an RP server.

I scoped the place out for probably 10 minutes and there weren't any shots for at least 5 minutes so I went in and got shot, no kos dayz. It was removed it because no groups ever used it.

I will try to kill every player I don't know who is armed unless I need assist or they make me laugh too much and I like this guy and we make team :thumbsup:. Confrontation might be a foregone conclusion but looking for it and doing it as a fair fight is basically writing your own death wish. I am not a butthurt cus I generally die with normal ways instead of getting KoSed , but I also say so. Therefore that speculation of yours is invalid. KoS players do not do such. What is colored with red stands against survival gaming, but as you clearly stated for "PvP gaming", which is "no" to that the game is more fun like that, because it is not designed to be such an experience in the first place. It is meant to be a survival zombie MMO, which the ones who you think are butthurt think and support. Me and my group just play like we would in real life. We let people go all the time, if they aren't a threat.
