Oh, add to that the 'gentleman's agreement' in Japan that no one would make cars over hp at the time, so it didn't run very high boost just like the Supra, Mitsi GTO etc. It had no light weight panels, hence the weight, as it was considered a luxury sports model, not an all out racer.
