How you use taunt doesn't explain it very well in game is you tap Lstick down assuming you're using a pad , until the targets heads turn red and start steaming.

I mean in most games the taunt is very obvious, but here it's almost hard to tell if you've even taunted. Do you have to be doing nothing for the taunt to occur? How long does the taunt last? From what I've read it's mainly for other playthroughts, it doesn't work so well on your first. It enrages the enemies and yourself so you take a lot more damage and so do they, on other playthroughs 2b shouts taunts. On first the robots light just flashes.
