Premium Members who have financially supported Nexus Mods are able to download without a speed cap as they are directly supporting the upkeep of the sites. If you're interested in finding out about all the perks of Premium Membership, or want to become a Premium Member, please head to our information page. In October we created a addition tier of users on Nexus Mods that directly impacts their download speeds cap. This tier includes "Supporters", recognised mod authors and users who do not use Adblockers. Users in this tier will have their download cap increased to 3MB a second, which is double what Adblock users will receive. Please note, for non-premium users your download speed is shared across all files you download. If you have multiple files downloading at once, this is the expected behaviour.

Taking upwards of a minute for a download to start if I do it by "Download With Manager. And my downloads are frequently not completing. Was wondering if this is happening for anyone else or if it is just me? I did a SpeedTest and my speeds are normal. No other site is doing this so I only can assume it is on their end. Same for me. Haven't actually seen it with regards to downloads, haven't grabbed anything lately, but I usually start my day with a read through of 'My Content' listings in the forum side of Nexus and it has been very slow of late. While that does make sense, I still have not seen the Nexus this slow in a really long time. Same here. Update: The regular free servers are definitely overloaded. I got tired of waiting and purchased another month of premium. On the premium servers everything is lightning fast.

Describe the bug I installed Vortex in my PC, after I opened it Vortex started glitching and slow download speed not only on Vortex but also on Nexus Mods website after the maintenance. The Vortex new update fix nothing and the slow download speed has been happening for 3 days. Expected behavior Well, I expected a clean and non glitching Vortex and a normal download speed. Additional context I've tried to fix this by reinstalling Vortex and restarting my PC but it changes nothing.

Sometimes they're fine and you get max speeds even if you're a free member, other times they're just slow because there's too many people downloading at the same time or the servers are just slow for some reason.
