In Hearthstone's Patch The developers are aiming to give a chance to certain deck archetypes before they rotate out of Standard. We also saw a lot of nerf hearthstone to Battlegrounds.
Yep I am so disappointed. Another two weeks without any real change to the meta. This changes nothing, absolutely nothing. Dh will still pop off on 4 5 or 6, cleave hunter an stjll cleave. Paladin will still paladin.

Dev Comment: We have two goals this patch. First, we want to weaken some of the meta outliers. Second, we want to experiment with smaller buffs across several cards that are rotating out of Standard soon—especially in classes that are currently weaker—to see if we can give them one last hurrah. Dev comment: When talking about our first goal, to curb power outliers, Warlock is the primary clear outlier across almost all ranks. Dev comment: Ramp-style Druid is not a power outlier at most levels of play, but it is becoming a prevalent power and sentiment outlier at high Legend ranks. In addition, nerfs can also be design-related, called for by the developers when it is necessary to keep in line with a design goal in mind while simultaneously avoiding potential problems with future cards that may be printed. The degree to which the power of a card should be nerfed can prove difficult to determine, and it requires some foresight into future cards. A card may be too strong in a particular meta , and if it is nerfed, it might still see some play; however, in future metas, the nerf may have been too drastic and the card may be too weak to ever see any play, unless new cards are printed to synergize with the nerfed card again. New cards and developments cause cards to become either effective or ineffective, in different and unforeseen ways, depending on the meta, and these issues should reflect the degree of power of a nerf.
