I loved the idea, and have been using this system for my MLB series. The idea has begun to catch on, as a few others are using the system for their series too. Grey is silver, powder blue is sky blue, red is brick, kelly green is lime green, etc.

Hey, this is something I just noticed very recently, but someone decided to put down darker colors of blue and red for the Eastern Conference and Western Conference respectively under some of the more recent NBA seasons by teams templates. If anything, the colors for those templates should be fixed up to a lighter shade of blue and red for those sections, similar to that of the Template:NBA page, for example.
