Natalie is a South Korean romantic comedy film directed by Ju Kyung-jung. The movie revolves around a young man, a woman and a robot, and their love triangle. The film was well-received by critics and audiences alike and is considered one of the best romantic comedies to come out of South Korea in recent years. The movie starts with a young man named Chun-soo played by Kim Ji-hoon who is a furniture designer running his own business. Chun-soo is suffering from a severe case of creative block and is unable to come up with any new designs. To break his creative slump, he decides to take a trip to the countryside where he comes across a retired robot named Natalie. Natalie was created by a company called Genex Robotics and used to be the best in the business. Due to technological advancements, she was eventually replaced by better models and ended up being retired to a small town. Chun-soo immediately takes a liking to Natalie and brings her back to his studio to help him with his designs.
