This is a collection of templates I have created for use with the Musescore notation program 1. It contain templates in a wide range of styles, from marching and concert bands to a wide range of orchestras to latin ensembles and chamber groups. You may use these templates freely for anything you choose to, without giving me credit. Of course, there is no middleman and no profit involved in this whatsoever. I only ask that you enjoy using these. The template is ready to upload, except for one thing, musescore templates. It would be good to see if someone with more real world orchestral experience says it is otherwise for them.

I am making this post in regards to a very small little issue with scores and score templates. This is absolutely not a massive problem but it is something that does get just the tiniest bit annoying when making larger custom scores. Is there any possible way to be able to save specific scores as templates that I can access on the template file popup every time I want to make a new score. Sorry for the large post, just trying to make what Im saying clear to avoid confusion later on haha. With that in mind, is there in any interest in improving the template selection in other categories? I'm already working on putting together a really good concert band template, and a string orchestra template should be fairly easy. I've also noticed a couple of oddities in the current templates, such as "Violin I" and "Violin II" sharing the abbreviated name of "Vln. As I recall, we actually had a whole bunch of other band templates - variations on Salvation Army bands, apparently - that were submitted but apparently not included in the release. Staves are definitely one-line; the only question is how many of these one-line staves seem appropriate to include in a generic "modern orchestra" template.
