Get Out is a American psychological black horror film written, co-produced, and directed by Jordan Peele in his directorial debut. The plot follows a young black man Kaluuya , who uncovers shocking secrets when he meets the family of his white girlfriend Williams. The entire film was shot in 23 days. The film received critical acclaim for its screenplay, direction, acting, and social critiques. Get Out has been cited by critics as one of the best films of the 21st century. An African-American man, later identified as Andre Hayworth, feels uncomfortable as he walks through a suburban white Brooklyn neighborhood at night. He is abducted by another man in a Porsche. Her brother Jeremy and their parents, neurosurgeon Dean and hypnotherapist Missy, make casual disparaging comments about Black people, and Chris witnesses eerie behavior from the family's Black servants, Georgina and Walter.
