Th e Tatt Room School of tattooing is opening up in the heart of Downingtown to teach passionate individuals the important skills and techniques of tattooing. This program is for individuals who already can draw and have either a small, medium or large portfolio of their art work that can be shown to the owner and teacher, Monica Barnes. Other than being able to draw, you do not need to have any tattoo knowledge. If you do have tattoo experience, depending on the range of skill, there will be a discounted class price which can be discussed with Monica. With the money you pay, it will buy your starter supplies which include the machine, needles, inks, and other miscellaneous items we use in everyday tattooing.

A You can contact Monica Barnes at I just came in to have a nose stud switched out. I told them that I needed an 18 gauge and surgical steel or titanium. Not long after they switched it out and put in the stud I purchased from them, I developed a keloid. I thought it was because I bumped it. Turns out it was a 20 gauge and a different type of metal it appears. I have had this keloid for over a month. I finally went somewhere else yesterday to get it switched out with the proper metal and gauge. That's when I found out that it was the wrong gauge and possibly metal because my body was rejecting it.
